Never miss a breakdown call again: the digital office assistant for installers
You're under a sink or up on a roof when the phone rings. A breakdown, a leak, a tripped circuit. You can't answer, so the customer rings the next installer on the list. And in the evening you're still at the laptop, retyping work orders and making invoices.

Try free for 14 days. No payment details, ends automatically. How the trial works
For installers, plumbers, electricians and roofers, being reachable isn't a luxury. A breakdown call that only gets returned in the evening has usually gone to someone else by then. And the more engineers you have, the more time goes into who goes where, what's in each van and which service contracts are coming up.
How Corvo Apex helps, in three steps
The call comes in, even when you can't pick up
If you don't answer, the caller gets a WhatsApp from your number within seconds. It asks what's wrong, the address, how urgent it is and for a photo, of the boiler display or the fuse box for example. You get a notification with a summary.
The appointment lands in the engineer's schedule
One click confirms the time the customer suggested. In the workshop view you can see what each engineer has on, and the engineer sees the job straight away in My day, with the route and the parts needed for similar jobs before.
Work order closed, invoice ready
After the job, the engineer closes the work order: work done, time, parts and payment method. The invoice is ready for your approval and goes to the customer with a payment link and into your own books. Service contracts are rescheduled automatically.
Set up in the language of your trade
For an installation business it's called a work order, breakdowns show the fault code and urgency, and every engineer has their own schedule and van stock.

An installation business with four engineers in Almelo
This is a worked example, not a real customer. As soon as there's a real case, you'll find it here.
Starting point. An installation business with four engineers and an owner who still works on the tools. The phone rings about fifteen times a day, and roughly a third of those calls go unanswered because everyone's on a job. Two evenings a week go on invoicing from paper work orders that aren't always complete. Service contracts live in a spreadsheet that mainly gets looked at in autumn.
What we set up. Office Team, with unanswered calls on the landline and mobiles forwarded. The assistant knows the services, the area covered and the call-out charge. Every engineer has the engineer app on their phone, and the service contracts have been moved over so customers get invited automatically.
What you'd see after a month. Nearly every missed call has become a request with a photo and address. Invoices are ready on the day of the job and go out with a payment link once approved. Two evenings of admin a week have become one, and that one keeps getting shorter.
Questions from the field
Does it work with my landline and my engineers' mobiles?
Yes. You keep all your own numbers. Unanswered calls are forwarded, and the customer gets a WhatsApp from your business.
Can the assistant tell when it's an emergency?
Yes. The intake asks how urgent it is, such as no hot water, a leak or no power. Emergencies get a separate alert, so you can decide whether to go today.
Can engineers take payment on site?
Yes. When closing a job, the engineer chooses cash or card, digital with a payment link, or on account.
How are service contracts handled?
With Office Plus you manage service contracts with direct debit, and maintenance visits are scheduled on time. Customers are invited automatically.
Does this replace my accounting software?
No. Once you approve an invoice, it goes to your own accounting software, so your accountant stays your accountant.
