Why a company round the corner is handy
Because we're based in Almelo ourselves, the lines are short. We usually schedule an introductory call in the same week, and after you go live we're happy to drop by again when something needs to change. For example when you take on a new employee, when your opening hours change, or when you notice customers keep asking the same question that the assistant could answer even better.
So you don't have to sort everything out through a helpdesk or a form. You have one fixed point of contact who knows your business and how you work. Rather not have a visit? Then we do the same thing online, with your screen shared.
How it works in practice
We start with an introductory call of about half an hour, at your premises or online. Together we look at how requests come in today, by phone, WhatsApp, your website or email, and where things get stuck while you're busy working.
Then we set it up together. You keep your own phone number and your own accounting software. We add the words of your trade, your working hours and the way you schedule appointments. Only when everything is right do we switch it on. You can try it free for 14 days first, without payment details; after that you decide whether to continue.
An ordinary working day, only calmer
Say you're an installer in Almelo, and at 10:30 you're at a customer's home in Aadorp with your hands in a boiler cupboard. The phone rings and you can't answer. Normally you'd only call back at the end of the day, and by then the caller has often found someone else.
With Corvo Apex that caller gets a WhatsApp message from your business within seconds. The assistant asks what's wrong, the address and when it suits them, and puts the request ready in your dashboard. Between two jobs you see what came in and confirm the appointment. When the job is done, the work order is already there and you create the invoice in a few clicks.

That depends on your industry and what's possible. We agree it in the introductory call.

Does it work if I'm a sole trader?
Yes. Corvo Apex is made for sole traders and small teams of up to about ten people. Especially when you do everything yourself, it helps a lot when questions and requests are caught automatically while you're working.

No. Corvo Apex works alongside your own accounting software. With a link to your accounting package, invoices and payments go there automatically, so your bookkeeper can keep working the way they do now.
